Abstract This paper examines issues of the intertwining roles of spirituality and religion, spirituality and counseling, spirituality and community, spirituality and culture, serendipity and empowerment, and the roles of stages of faith development. Conclusions for rehabilitation service providers and those whom they serve are addressed.
