{ABSTRACT} This article draws attention to the attitudinal barriers created for people with disabilities within religious communities, emphasizes the need for communities of faith to eradicate neglect of the spiritual care of persons with disabilities, and offers the perspective that people with disabilities desire and deserve the community of other persons of faith.
