Abstract A mother's story of learning to accept her son Neeraj who has autism. She describes initial questions about his development to the shock of the diagnosis and then the journey of learning to accept and love him unconditionally, even in the face of dealing with a number of challenging behaviors. Throughout the story is an affirmation of what he has taught her.
