The communion meal calls and challenges us to relinquish control of our lives and to claim our neediness before God and one another. Yet in this meal, God not only invites us to let God feed us, but also empowers us to feed and be fed by others. In and through this shared, sacred meal, we find nourishment, grace, and true community.
