Abstract

This article offers a conceptual and practical guide for catechists in preparing adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities for public confession of faith in a Christian congregation. Conscious of and committed to a Lutheran theological perspective and liturgical tradition, the author hopes that Lutherans and non-Lutherans alike will find it a helpful guide in their own catechetical efforts.
