This story tells that Jesus of Nazareth was a person with a disability, a hunchback, in fact. A short man with a twisted spine whose followers had to climb trees to see. He is a truly {“Disabled} God”, the incarnate Presence of the Holy in our brokenness. He was befriended and lived among the outcasts and followed by those who could see the joy wisdom of God in genuine flesh.
